Sydney concrete stair formworkers and concreters.
This project, at Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, involved designing and constructing a set of exterior floating concrete stairs that lead down to a large tiled entertaining area.
It was important to the client that the stairs formed a feature. Floating stairs are one way of achieving this. Additionally, stylish lighting was also integrated.
While onsite we did some other last-minute concreting work for them including constructing some suspended concrete slabs. This was an interesting job (unfortunately, we didn’t take any photos) as it involved suspending the concrete formwork midair so the other contractors onsite could continue working on other aspects of the renovation and meet an impending deadline.
