This project at Mosman on Sydney’s Lower North Shore, was located at the end of a dead-end street and offered all sorts of access problems for all trades involved on this major renovation.
Every concreting project is different – some are relatively easy, others, offering all sorts of challenges along the way. This was one such job.
The location of the home at the end of a street and with very difficult access required strict organisation and planning on the part of all trades, including our concreters, steel fixers and formworkers.
Storage confinements provided further limitations and getting our equipment, tools and materials onsite each day took military precision planning. Our concrete pours had to be scheduled around other trades.
On this project we undertook the following work :
- curved concrete stairs
- external concrete stairs
- large concrete slabs
Despite the problems, we finished three weeks ahead of the builder’s schedule. A testament to the hardwork of our team and our ability to work succinctly with each other and other trades.
