Architectural concrete contractors Sydney.
This new house build at Bronte in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs involved both the technical expertise and design flair of our formworkers and concreters. With a large concrete “spine” running through the home, the client didn’t want just a plain concrete wall and that’s far from what we delivered.
With the majority of this new home being constructed of concrete, many of the walls remained visible both internally and externally. So the house didn’t look like a concrete bunker, we placed rough sawn timber boards onto the formwork to give the concrete an interesting textured finish.
This method of “concrete stamping” or “textured concrete”, as it is commonly referred, has become increasingly popular in the past 5-10 years. Its popularity is because the finished product is extremely strong and can become a design feature.
The job involved a lot of difficult angles but the experience and expertise of our expert formwork carpenters and concreters ensured the finished result was precise and spectacular.
