The client at this Cremorne Point property on Sydney’s Lower North Shore wanted a new suspended garage concrete slab installed on existing stone walls.
Upon inspection by the Site Engineer, it was determined that the stone walls were unable to support the weight of the new concrete slab. To solve the problem we suggested they instead use a Dincel wall system instead of blocks which would speed up the build time and progress completion of the project.
The Site Engineer appreciated this was the best solution and the client was in agreement.
We completed the project from start to finish within 8 days. This included formwork to the ground slab, steel fixing concrete, place of ground slab, formwork for suspended slab and upstaged beam, Dincel installation with walls poured, pour main concrete slab, steel fix of main slab and concrete pour.
